POA
POA
POA, abbreviated from Power of Attorney, is a document by which you appoint and authorise one or more persons to manage your financial and legal affairs.
There are a number of reasons to appoint a power of attorney:
You may be going overseas or in overseas;
You may require hospitalisation and need someone to look after your financial or legal affairs;
Dementia or mental illness may inhibit your decision making ability;
All other reasons.
You can use a POA for almost any purpose that you may legally do. For example, you can authorise your attorney to collect debts, vote at meetings, operate your bank account, manage your investments or carry out any other function which can be lawfully delegated.
If you are going overseas, suffering from an inevitable illness, don’t have time to organise affairs or just lazy to sign documents, come talk to us at Prudentia Legal. Every state and federal government has its own requirements and forms for POA. We may do a Power of Attorney for you for a fixed small fee.
